Out of the curious, found this Francis Mace in London in 1829, as a constable in the court proceedings of the Old Bailey ( www.oldbaileyonline.org/html_sessions/T18290910.html Ref: t18291203-144 and www.oldbaileyonline.org/html_sessions/T18290910.html Ref: t18290910-89). Another constable by the name of Richard Godwin Mace is also listed. Might be of interest to anyone who may have these people in their tree.
